Specialist Tuition & Mentoring.

At SpLD South, every session is tailored to specific needs. There isn’t a ‘one size fits all’; each individual learning style is discovered in order to develop learning plans or specific goals unique to each person. Whether the aim is to develop academic writing skills, become more confident with spelling, discover strategies for reading or organise and prioritise workload, our aim is to enable you to discover and realise your own uniqueness, strengths and metacognition (learning how you learn) in a comfortable and supported environment.

Access to Work.

Workplace strategies sessions are offered one a one-to-one basis to assist employees in exploring and developing strategies in the workplace. Activities range from effective email/letter writing to daily schedule management. Sessions are individual and adapted to the employee’s needs, with consultation taking place with management and HR departments separately at the employee’s request. The aim is to help break down the barriers that prevent employees from working effectively, independently or to their full potential.
